We decided to try Banana Boat on South Osborne after finding the lineup at BDI too long. The staff were efficient, the ice cream options were delicious, and the soft serve twist cone was just the right size for me. The chocolate PB milkshake was rich and flavorful, but a bit warm - a colder temperature would have made it even better. The seating is limited with only a few benches, but there is private parking available. Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy during the short hot summers in Winnipeg. And don't forget, they only accept cash.
