I found a great restaurant in a hotel in downtown Victoria where dogs are allowed. The staff recommended the "Crab Cake Eggs Benedict" and it did not disappoint - rich and tasty. The breakfast at Fire & Water Restaurant was fuel for a day full of walking along the harbour. The lamb dish turned out to be the best meal of my whole trip, and the clam chowder was the best I've ever had. Staff were friendly and accommodating, making it a pleasant experience overall. The seafood linguine was delicious and reasonably priced, and our server Kyra was attentive. The crab cakes with poached eggs were solid, and the service was excellent. The clam chowder is always a must-have when staying at the Marriott. The appetizers, especially the salmon and tuna, were fantastic. The restaurant is child-friendly and offers crayons and stickers. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, even entertaining our one-year-old son. The express lunch with Chipotle Tomato Feta soup and a Crab Cake Sandwich was very tasty. The seafood dishes were amazing, and they even made a grilled cheese sandwich for my vegetarian son. Room service offered a great meal for around $75, including pasta, chicken strips, beef burger, and salad.
