April 2011 - Here is the response to the E-mail I sent them:
"First of all let me tell you that the gift certificate you have is over 2
years old. Secondly the new ownership has been here 1 year and even went to
the length of posting signs in the bar, putting newspaper ads in the tri
city news and verbally telling every customer for the first three months
that if you have a gift card purchased prior to June 2010 they will expire
by December 31, 2010. Since you obviously missed all that you should take my
advise and get your head out of your -ss, and If you have been holding onto
$25 for 2 years and it has damaged you soooo much to have lost it, then it's
customers like you who are not needed here! Also Your email has been kept on
file as well as your ip address and cell phone number. If any damage comes
from your emails(you probably don't have many friends anyway) you will be
facing charges of slander. And sorry you won't get gift certificates for
lawyers. Welcome to the computer age, anyone is traceable when you click on
our website!!!!!!!"
Make you own mind up whether you want to set foot in this dive. By the way, I told the manager I would tell people to stay away and he told me to go ahead. So, it is with his blessing that I am making this poor review

Stay away!!! The management will not accept gift certificates without expiry date and use the excuse that they have new owners. The pub name has not; however, changed. When challenged on the horrible business practice, the manager just got rude and lectured us on the law. When we didn't back down, he told me that he would tell me using different words if he weren't working at the time. When I said we would tell others to avoid this dump, he said, "Go ahead". So, with the full blessing of this dive, I'm telling everyone to give it a miss. Funny how their website claims they will pay for any violation ticket received by a patron but won't honour gift certificates. I wonder if they pay for the tickets with the money they stole from the patrons who purchased gift certificates. Sleazy, rude and unprofessional. They don't want your business folks so go elsewhere :-)
