I've been to Thai Express a few times, both here and in other cities, and I've found that the reviews don't do it justice. The service has always been decent, the food consistently tasty, although you may need to specify your preferences and portions can be a bit stingy on the veggies - but hey, it's fast food. It's conveniently located near school, the shrimp pad Thai is a favorite, and the Thai style shrimp fried rice was a recent delicious discovery. The chefs are skilled, but the service staff could work on their friendliness. Despite that, the food is flavorful, portions are generous for the price, and there's a good variety to choose from. The clean environment and open kitchen where you can see your meal being prepared are definite bonuses.
