After struggling to find authentic Chinese cuisine in Nanaimo for months, a local foodie friend introduced me to Golden Inn. The Peking duck was a standout, with crispy skin, flavorful soup, and delicious lettuce wraps, while the seafood hotpot and Chow Kui Tew were also satisfying, despite slightly smaller portions. Overall, the experience at Golden Inn was a pleasant surprise, with quality dishes, attentive service, and a decorative dining area that would be perfect for gatherings.
