My family popped in near closing time and I was craving corn soup and a scone! We were a group of three and we all had our hearts set on the same dish. Coming from the Detroit area, corn soup holds a special place in our hearts. The server was friendly but there were only two scones left, so my brother passed. The food arrived promptly and it was absolutely delicious, especially the ham & scone combo and the corn soup. We make it a point to visit this restaurant every time we're in town, and the service is consistently wonderful. We dropped by to see if they had traditional corn soup on the menu, and we were thrilled to find out that they did! Along with our favorites, we also ordered some fun road trip foods like a cheeseburger and a footlong hot dog. The presentation was lovely and the flavors were spot on. The service was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We'll definitely be returning with our friends next time. Thank you, Village Cafe!

Restaurant is bright, clean and comfortable. In spite of covid and being short staffed with waitresses were polite and efficient. According to a friend the blue berry pancakes are the best he has had. If time is not an issue and you wish to enjoy your meal try the Village Cafe.

I was driving through town and was recommended to eat here by the gals at the gas station down the road.
From beginning to end, the service was beyond exceptional.
The place was cleaner than could be asked for.
Modern decor.
Lots of space,
Great menu variety.
Would drive back from Toronto just to enjoy.

Just left here. Busy morning, the waitress clearly wasnt happy about that. Horrible service, with attitude.

The place is very nice but the food was horrible. The home fries were cut up so weirdly into different shapes and sizes it looked like they were bitten. The scrambled eggs tasted old and the food took forever almost 30 min even tho they have a drive thru
