Good food, good prices

This diner is one of those "I'll-NEVER-eat-there-again" incidents. Ordered "Breakfast Special" and a Poutine at 11:58. Our order arrived at 12:31 - and it was essentially inedible. Food was prepared by an incompetent cook, and served by an equally incompetent waitress. Egg-yolks were almost cooked hard - wanted easy-over. Home-fries, sausages and toast were all just warm. The fries for the Poutine were shrivelled and sodden with grease, gravy was cold, though the cheese was melted - so it was hot at some point. Meals were stuck under the heat-lamps for 15 minutes or more.
The service was surly. When we complained, the waitress argued she could "see steam" coming off the dish. No attempt to re-do the meals. All we got was a bill for $29.00 and a "Sorry".
Save your money and go to the A & W around the corner.

First time ordering food from Country Kitchen in Winchester Ontario Canada totally disappointed with food. Ordered Chinese (sweet/sour chicken balls , almond chicken soo guy,,chicken fried rice and egg rolls) the only item worth eating was the rice Never ordering anything from there again. Live and learn and$41.00 spent on garbage
