Lully's was closed for a while, but now there's a hookah bar in its spot. I miss Lully's and hope it comes back soon. We tried their hotdog and the server was super friendly, giving us all the options for the perfect hotdog experience. It came in a pretzel bun with delicious toppings. The coleslaw was tangy and tasty, just like my friend's grandmother's recipe. And the pickle had a great zing to it. We also tried a Christmas dinner sandwich that was so good, I couldn't stop eating. The sandwiches were messy but so worth it. I may or may not have taken some coleslaw back to my hotel room for a midnight snack. The proprietor was really cool and helped us pick out the best sandwiches. I'd gladly walk further to support this little gem. I think I've found my new favorite lunch spot in Victoria - I'm already excited for my next visit. Lully's offers a $10 special every day, which includes a sandwich, coleslaw, pickle, and drink. The Montreal Smoked Beef on Rye is a must-try, especially if you love smoked meat. The coleslaw is fresh and tangy, a nice change from the usual creamy coleslaw. And nothing beats a cold Coke in a glass bottle.
