My husband and I go to the Metcury Dinner whenever we are in Aurora. We live n Alliston. We both love this place very much. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. We always get great service when we go there. All the servers are wonderful, friendly and look after us very well. I especially love their cheddar cheese omelette. I can't say enough great things about this Dinner. It is a fun place to go. Go, you won't be disappointed with the food and service.

WORST BREAKFAST EVER! This is one place in Aurora that we will never return to. After waiting for 20 mins. they brought coffee for two of the three people. I asked for a glass of water which almost never came.
One person ordered bacon and eggs and after 30 mins. they brought him an egg & bacon sandwich. My eggs Benedict showed up 20 mins. later and cold. I had asked for a soft poach......the eggs were hard boiled. The slab of pea meal bacon was over the top and the hollandaise sauce was dreadful. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I didn't touch my breakfast. The third person's breakfast arrived 30 mins. later. They had asked for a refill of coffee which never arrived.
There were 5 servers and obviously they have no experience.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day but that experience left me hungry and upset. No apologies from the server. The plates sat and sat on the pass.
I would that the servers be trained properly and hire cooks who know what they are doing. The fan over the stove was not strong enough...the three of us stank of a greasy spoon restaurant.
I wish the owner luck in turning this place around.
