Spent a couple of days in Calgary for work and found an awesome pub inside the Carriage House Hotel with friendly staff, cold beer, and a killer steak sandwich that's great value at $8.95. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, perfect for watching soccer games while munching on free peanuts and enjoying a solid draft beer selection, including Big Rock IPA on tap. The place has recently been revamped with a fresh look, and while the menu is small, the steak sandwich and Carder salad definitely stand out as local favorites.

Stayed in Calgary for business, enjoyed the friendly staff and cold beer at the pub in Carriage House Hotel. The steak sandwich is a must-try, and the Canadian accents add to the cozy atmosphere.
