What a great selection of home cooked meals . And if your looking for a great order of fish and chips downtown for a great price value . Step up from the waterfront to Granville St and try RUDYS been eating there for years best food in this city for a feel good meal .

TERRIBLE!!!! Being from Winnipeg Manitoba my fiancí© who is from Halifax wanted to get married in her home city. She had found Rudy's on the internet and would hope they would cater our outdoor wedding after contacting them they were glad to do so. We had ordered Beef Wellington and roasted potatoes for the main course Food had arrived on time which was great but when it came time to eat and cut open the Wellington we could have not have been more disappointed the Wellington was made with what seemed to be dry days old shredded roast beef!!! Half of the roasted potatoes were not cooked still hard! We were not going to complain as this didn't ruin our special day but people need to know what they're paying for. I contacted the caterer and was informed that there are different ways to make Beef Wellington and this is how they made it? And was told the potatoes were cooked when they brought them over? Just a disappointment that you pay a lot for a meal and expect what is offered and you don't get it!
