I have always loved this restaurant and have often enjoyed meeting family and friends here but today I witnessed the worse act of professionalism I have ever encountered. I met my mother and sister today for lunch and had my children with me, one who is just one years old. Yes he is still a messy eater and did drop egg on the floor below his highchair as he is still learning. As a common curtesy my mother mentioned we need to at least pick up the egg and as she was getting her jacket on, the waitress whom I believe is a family member of the owner, scolded us like children in front of customers (these are customers that she was currently helping) and she said to us, "I would appreciate it next time if you pick up after your children." My mother who was completely embarrassed immediately started picking up egg off the floor. Every customer in the restaurant was now staring at us. I was in shock. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I grabbed the large tip my sister had left on the table and walked out after I got my mother to stop picking up egg. My mom is a senior and it was so upsetting to her upset and to see her being treated this way. The worst part besides being scolded in front of all the customers is my mother would never have left that restaurant without picking up that egg on the floor.
