DISSAPIONTED , I bought a Fruit loaf at a Big Way store , baked and supplied by Parkland Bakery Roblin , a disgrace to be called a fruit loaf . There was no fruit inside this loaf at all , it was a plain loaf of bread with maybe 4 or 5 tinny , minute pieces of some kind of fruit , just stuck to the outside of the loaf . DO NOT BUY !

The owner was very rude and refused to allow me to shop in his place of business due to the fact that I WAS wearing a mask. He apparently has a no mask policy. And assumed that because I choose to wear one that I must be sick. He also stated once I explained that I was in fact NOT sick and wear a mask for protection of myself and others. He made the absurd statement that mask do not protect you.

I have not stepped it to the Bakery in two years tell the new owners took over.Before that there was nothing on the shelves and you had to per order even doughnuts there was never any fresh bread it sat in the freezer for a week.

Every time I am visiting Roblin for business, I make sure treat myself to some pleasure at the Parkland Bakery in Roblin, Chuck is a great guy with a lot of baking talent! Donuts are amazing, but don't miss out on the apple fritters, cinnamon buns and poppy seed buns that are second to none. I will go back every time. It's a good thing they are 4+ hours from Winnipeg, or I would be doomed!

You would think a donut is a donut, that is what I thought, until I ate a Parkland Bakery
donut. They are made fresh every day. They taste light and greaseless, obviously the dough has not been over worked. The oil is always fresh. These donuts need to be eaten the same day.
Be warned, once you have eaten Parkland Bakery donuts life will not be the same.
