Zaftig's brings that old-country Jewish deli vibe with a wide menu that includes surprisingly fantastic burgers and a solid brunch selection, like matzo brei and latkes that hit the spot. The staff knows their stuff, service is friendly and quick, and the portions are generous enough to keep you full without breaking the bank. It's always buzzing, especially on Sundays, but the cozy, vintage diner atmosphere and bottomless coffee make the wait worthwhile every time.

most satisfying lunch ive had in a while ,abit pricey,but well worth the cost. had a corned beef sandwich that was to die for ,the quality of the meat was scrumptious,followed that up with the brisket,out of any world.then had a marvelous salad.fresh and sharp were the vegtables.then had aside of knishes which were uncanny,along with two cups of coffee, i am stuffed,walk,drive,crawl,fly, but get there soon.

This place has great sandwiches. I usually get the pastrami or reuben. Prices are a bit high but you get a lot of meat.
