I enjoyed a meal of Halibut and Cod at this longstanding establishment, with the Halibut being a standout choice. Tuesday offers excellent deals, making it a great time to try their delicious fish and chips. My spouse and I relocated to Seattle and have yet to discover a fish and chips eatery as satisfying as this one, where the batter is perfectly crispy and the fish consistently fresh.

I went on their website to post this and it says they will allow a small amount of praise or criticism so this is my whole review in case of editing.

3/14/2016..I have been a Patron of Sir Cedrics for about 35 years and have brought many people to it with great aplomb. I hate fish and Seafood in general BUT, I Love Good Halibut! I have to say that I have been disappointed of late. Late last year, I stopped in for my delectable treat only to say at first bite "WTF?" I asked the waitress if they changed their frying oil and she acknowledged that they had. She asked if I liked it and I said NO! Its that cheap stuff they use at all those me too restaurants to save a few cents, and leaves a rancid film on the roof of your mouth. (Remember how good the fries used to be at Swiss Chalet? Same thing with them!). The waitress (one of the very nice long standing employees) assured me that others had complained also and they would be moving back to the old oil supplier/product when this crap was done. I came back a few times with no change. Now I dont mind paying steep prices for good food, but I can no longer look forward to going there and it's a shame! Sorry guys, time to step up to the customer's plate and try your own food!
