Went there because, while it has been years, and the experience there was fine, we used to go to Jade Palace, who had a killer shrimp in lobster sauce and a great hot and sour soup. Unfortunately the restaurant was killed by COVID and I had a hankering for the aforementioned shrimp dish.
I placed an order for their Szechuan dinner with a shrimp & lobster sauce; picked it up and brought it home. They had refused my Amex card, even though the Amex site listed them as a place that accepts their card.
Got home and determined that their portion sizes are a bit on the small size for the money they charge and their hot and sour soup and their shrimp in lobster sauce are 'watery' and the supposedly spicy Szechuan food was bland by any standard - it tasted fine, but missed completely the mark as it pertains to regional cooking.
For my money I would have gone to another place had I read this review first.
