Have been going to CDA Outback for 20 yrs. About 5 yrs ago the quality fell tremendously. Last week I decided it was time to give it a try again to see if they had bounced back
Greeted by the Hostess and she started to take us toward the left side of the restaurant. I told her I did not wish to be seated near the restrooms. She acknowledged me and took us 2 booths from the restroom. I told her it was just a bit too close, especially since there were only about 10 tables in use in the whole place.
The server was very friendly and a nice personality. Took our order of a sirloin Medium and some coconut shrimp. Twenty five (25) minutes later she returned with our order. The steak was very well done and tougher than leather. My partners coconut shrimp was a joke, something like one would expect from a fast food drive thru.
When the server inquired how the meal was I quietly and politely told her it was awful. After a few moments she returned and did not charge us for the entrees. I told her the service was very good and tipped her for the amount the same as if the bill was not changed and explained to her it was not her fault.
During the past week I have inquired of friends and neighbors if they have been to Outback lately and everyone of them said they haven't been in for a long time as food and cleanliness was very poor.
This has to be the worst example in their entire chain.
