Wonderful food and environment. Servers are pleasant and efficient. As the name implies, they have a GREAT view.

Open for dinner on the weekends and breakfast ALL DAY.

The View is open 7 days a week. Right now they are on winter schedule which is 8am to 2pm.

My kids tell their kids that they grew up here, at the View Cafe! Nicole makes everyone feel welcome, and food is fresh, hot and served with a smile!

The View serves a meal Worth the or the price. Exceptionally tasty food go there quite often and love the staff staff. They are awesome, very personable, friendly, outgoing to make your experience in their cafí© a good one. Love you all

My family and I have been eating at the View Cafe for several years but lately the food has been poor. Today, 5/28/21, we went to have dinner. I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich and was told I could not have that because they were saving the prime rib for those who might order the prime rib dinner later on in the evening. I had a bacon cheese burger. It was poor. Chard, burnt bun, burnt bacon with only lettice and tomatoes. Nothing else on it. It's been like this the last few visits. Don't know if I will go back. I live with in one mile the View Cafe and I'm sad to leave it behind. Probably won't go back .

Not only is this a great place to eat, but the atmosphere is homey and relaxing, and if you want the perfect family treat they have the most AMAZING, old fashion, like Grandma use to make, home made strawberry shortcake!! The serving is HUGE and yummy! The pizza is amazingly, piled high with goodness.... To top it off you can feed a family and be out the door for under $25
This is our new favorite place :)

The View is open under new owners and it is a GREAT place to eat and meet friends. We live in Coeur d Alene and sail out of Bayview. Always eat at The View. Wonderful owners and great food. Our best place to go!!!!

This restaurant closed, and is now for sale. I wish that they had beach access to the Lake Cocolalla below them, but it is not an option. If I had to choose an option for a business that could work, breakfast & lunch with super soups and sands, plus a great bar. If it goes over, then maybe dinners. It will take the best entrepreneur out there to make this float and in fact, move forward.

Ordered the Grilled Chicken Ceaser salad for the first time, but the chicken breast on it was mega thin and very small, compared to all other salads like that I have ate at other resturants including fast food places. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Won't order it again, otherwise Ive always been satisfied with food and service.

I took my small family here over the Holiday weekend: found the service and food to be truly excellent. The waitress was very patient, coming back several times while we tried to decide on the menu choices. My son declared the hamburger to be the best he ever had, and we all loved the sweet potato fries. Yes, the coffee cups are too small, and hard for the waitress to handle, but we will be back, again and again.

Totally excellent view & wonderful food. Reasonably priced. New management & owner. Wonderful reconstruction of original restaurant. Inside is warm & comfortable. Quaint little diner on the main Hwy.

Had Breakfast the other day. The food was great and plenty. Eggs Benedict was great for the price. Only objection is the coffee cups being to small. Coffee gets cold quickly. But you get many refills at no charge.
Looking fwd to dinner in the very near future
