My 2 orders to go in April resulted in way overcooked fingersteaks when I made complaint in messenger Facebook was told to come back and receive a replacement for free. When I returned to replace our order was received with with hostilities from the cook and staff. Trudys restaurant is under new owners, we will NOT return to this establishment again and share to others of our poor service.

Poor food quaility

Ordered the Club Dip. Poor quality meat and american cheese no au jus. Menu said Jack and cheddar. No compromising on bill. Refused to eat due to bad odor. New owners not up to same standards as Trudy was. Would like to know if the owner even saw what was served.

We went up to Idaho from Texas for a family wedding and made a trip up to Idaho City to see a real ghost/mining town. We stopped at Trudy's for dinner because it looked like a cute little diner, and I was pleasantly surprised just how awesome it was! The food was reasonably priced (our party of 8 ate - salads, dinner, and dessert - for $124, which included a 25% tip). I had the best non-prime steakhouse sirloin ever (better than any chain restaurant) and it was cooked exactly the way I requested. I cannot even begin to describe the desserts! Absolutely unbelievable! Huge pies and fabulous choices!!! It's a must stop for anyone traveling near Boise, Idaho!
