My grandmother, who was born and raised in Ontonagon, insisted we visit Stubbs, and it truly lives up to its legendary reputation with friendly bartenders, fascinating stories, and an eclectic museum-like atmosphere filled with military memorabilia, motorcycles, firearms, and antique trinkets. During my visit, the welcoming staff and locals created a lively environment with music, pool, and cold beer, making it a memorable and authentic experience that perfectly captures the spirit of the UP.

When visiting Ontonagon, be sure to check out Stubbs for a unique experience. The eclectic decor and friendly locals create a welcoming atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else in town. Just remember to bring cash for the cash-only bar and be ready to immerse yourself in the UP culture.
