The bartender at the Elk Creek Campground bar was a real character, with a Mohawk and Viking-like beard that caught our attention as Minnesotans. He shared insights on local hikes and activities, making our stay more enjoyable. The atmosphere at the Alamo Bar in Gunnison was a unique experience, with a mix of old west charm and friendly locals creating a welcoming vibe.
