The food was awful and over priced. This was by far one of the worst restaurants i have ever ate at! Band was great...so if you go there don't go hungry cause you're going to leave hungry and MAD!!!!

04/07/2014 - Left there hungry and VERY disappointed
We got there early, but they had no ribs. What the heck is a rib joint, doing running out of ribs !!!

They advertised boiled crawfish, that night. Guess what---no boiled crawfish, either!!!

However, I felt sorry for the little waitress, who kept, having to tell us what WASN'T on the menu, so I still gave her a nice tip. It wasn't her fault that the owner is a slacker.

We, finally, settled for some poboys and bbq sandwiches. Poboys were edible, but bbq tasted like some strange boiled mystery meat.

Avoid Charley Ray's, and wait until you get to Greenwood, MS, and eat at the Crystal Grill !!!

Neat looking place, but the BBQ was very expensive!! Had the Tailgate Platter had enough to feed me and my son and it cost $40. I was hoping to take a good bit of food home but had a few scraps to feed the dogs. Two large sides came with this which was a very small amount of fries and a few spoonfuls of beans. The pork had no flavor and the ribs tastes like they were cooked in water. I have had better BBQ at a gas station! Very bad for a place that is a BBQ place.
