Phil's serves up generous portions of flavorful BBQ, including tender sliced brisket, pulled pork, and perfectly cooked chicken, all complemented by a variety of delicious sides like collard greens and fried okra. The casual atmosphere, adorned with sports memorabilia and a ceiling full of baseball caps, adds a fun, down-home vibe that makes dining here enjoyable for the whole family. With fast, friendly service and an impressive selection of sauces to try, it's a solid choice for anyone passing through Black Mountain looking for satisfying barbecue and a welcoming environment.

Whenever I swing by Black Mountain, I make sure to hit up Phil's for some quality BBQ that won't break the bank. The outdoor deck is a sweet spot to chill when it's warm out, and I always end up with leftovers for the next day. The variety of sauces and sides make it a solid choice for a laid-back meal, and the staff is always friendly.

The pork, chicken and brisket looked like it was shedded in a wood chipper.
Had absolutely no taste. The baby back ribs were very dry and hardly had any meat. The fries seemed to be two days old.
This place is the worlds worst. A real waste of time.
