I've been on the hunt for a unique red bean bun with a pineapple topping in the SGV area, reminiscent of my favorite Chinese bakery treat from the East Coast. After searching far and wide, I finally found what I was looking for at Diamond Bakery. The red bean paste is smooth and not overly sweet, complemented by a crunchy pineapple crust that covers the bread just right. If you're missing a taste of home or looking for a delicious treat, I recommend giving Diamond Bakery a try.
