My complaint is about the service. Due to business constraints - we order take out. Tonight I stopped to order and pick up dinner around 4:30 p.m. There were approximately a half dozen cars in the parking lot, so definitely not busy.
I entered thru the "to go" door, picked up a menu and selected my food order. Then I waited, and waited, finally rang the bell that sits on the counter to alert wait staff.
Another wait, when a lady, wearing a green shirt and appeared to be the manager or assistant manager, stuck her head around the corner and said, "I'll send someone to take your order, sweetie". After at least a five minute wait, and no wait staff - I left.
What I do not understand is why the person who said she would send someone to take my order, couldn't have taken one minute to take the order.
This was the last straw for me - we have ordered take out several times - normally we are missing items when we get home. Not wanting to leave the food to cool, we improvise. I have mentioned this to the wait staff on return visits to pick up a take out order, but still it happens.
Tonight - was the last straw. I won't go back - if the restaurant had been packed, I would have expected a wait, but when few people are in attendance one should expect and get prompt, courteous service.
So I went to Chili's and ordered dinner - got it in 15 minutes, courteous staff, great service, great food. I told them of my experience with TaMolly's - they told me that they have lots of clients with the same complaint about TaMolly's, frequenting their establishment. That is great for Chili's, but a black eye for TaMolly's.
As a small business owner, and the major bread winner in the household, customer service is at the top of my list - I guarantee my work and receive referrals from my clients. You may wish to think about that. Bad referrals and lack of service are major reasons why people do not make return visits.
