I recently played at a private golf course nestled in a picturesque community that features horses. I found the course to be excellent overall, with the second nine standing out as my favorite. However, the 18th hole was a bit peculiar and challenging in a not-so-enjoyable way, with its zig-zag layout and demanding tee shot over trees and water hazards. Despite this, the course offered a fine variety, good conditioning, and a unique setting that truly captured the essence of Low Country living.
