The ambiance is relaxed, but the music selection leaves something to be desired, especially with a surplus of R&B tracks on rotation. The food is reasonably priced and generally satisfying, although the cornbread was dry and unappetizing. The establishment, a Black-owned business, could benefit from some renovations, as the service can be slow, but the overall experience is enjoyable for those seeking soul food and a laid-back atmosphere.

Ok, so I don't drink. BUT I did attend a reunion function here and the food here was shockingly delicious. I ordered a turkey cheeseburger being cautious, and ended up eating half of my friend's soul food platter with 3 side dishes. My mother's from Mississippi. Nuff said.
