You gotta check out Kelly's, hands down the best spot in town for some amazing Mexican cuisine, especially if you're hungry enough to take on their huge portions! Every dish they serve is top-notch and absolutely delicious, from fajita tacos to shrimp nachos. The atmosphere is great, the servings are generous, and the prices are reasonable - it's a local favorite that's been around for decades and always delivers an incredible dining experience. Kelly's is where you wanna be for a meal that'll blow your taste buds away and leave you wanting more - just be prepared to pay in cash and keep an eye out for their unassuming sign!

The chicken tasted almost as if it was microwaved. Ordered nachos and counted only 5 chips on the plate.

One of the best Reuben Sandwiches I have eaten. Be aware that this is a cash establishment. NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED.

Ordered Loco Grande burrito. It was the worst burrito I ever had. It was utterly flavorless. I ate 3 or 4 bites and threw it away. Way over price as well. I won't be back.

I totally disagree with the "no flavor" comment posted....the re-fried beans are extremely flavorful and cooked on site. All the food is fabulous...best tasting food around. Go there; you won't be disappointed!!!

For the way the raved about this restaurant I was not very impressed at all. The beans didn't have much flavor...actually everything I ordered lacked seasoning. Nice people though.

Amazing!! If you love Mexican food and a fun environment you should definitely stop there! I know many many people who come back to visit Sterling and can't leave town without eating there at least once. I traveled to mid/downstate Illinois and told people where I'm from and they know the town because of "that Irish bar with the Mexican food called Kellys." The chips and salsas are great along with the chicken enchiladas and tacos. Other favorites are the Uncle Lu's Dip and buffalo hot wings!!

Best Irish Mexican food around. I have been going to Kelly's for over ten years, it continues to be consistently very good. The staff is great and attentive. Good for family's at lunch and dinner. One big room with a old wooden bar along on side. Always packed during lunch and dinner. Closed Sundays. I drive over 40 miles for lunch or dinner. It is worth the drive if you like Mexican style food with a twist. High quality ingredients, served hot and fresh!
