While chatting with a local about our first Quad City experience, we talked about trying a Maid Rite. The guy looked puzzled and asked 'Why??' It's still a mystery to me why he was so surprised, because we had a great time at the famous diner after seeing it recommended everywhere! The place has a retro feel and is quite affordable. The loose meat sandwich I had was unique and delicious, almost like a hamburger but with a different twist. Service was quick and friendly, making it a fun dining experience. Cheers to Maid Rite for a tasty meal in the heart of the USA!
