They closed in 2005, but still one of the most important dining establishment of it's time! It was a Victorian home built in 1874 as as hospital to treat Civil War soldier's.
They served traditional and new creative dishes never duplicated any where. They introduced traditional dishes with their own flair like fettuccini alfredo, seasonal home made tomato salad, and their own trade marked dish called Spagizza..wow, it was pasta in a rarebit dish with spaghetti and their own pizza sauce topped off with their own Italian sausage, provolone and shitake mushrooms served baked. Spa-gizza. They served Icelandic haddock cacciatore, Baked mushroom ravioli. By invitation they served Chicken Vesuvius and once a month their baked seafood special with crusty Italian bread crumbs.
I can go, but their will only ever be one Manzullo's and really miss it
