Trying Mario's for the first time, I loved the flavorful oregano-seasoned dishes like the garlic cheese bread, Massimo sticks, calzone, and thin-crust pizza, and although the hummus-based Olympian pizza's crust was a bit too crispy for my taste, the fresh ingredients, friendly staff, heartfelt Sicilian family story, and amazing house dressing made it clear why so many people, including myself, keep coming back for this authentic, long-standing Greenville favorite.

Mario's pizza has my favorite pizza from anywhere in the St. Louis area. I have been eating it for years and have yet to find a pizza that I like better. It is all made in shop and lacks that industrial taste that other pizza places have. It is a family business with that small town atmosphere whereas the patrons are closely looked after.
Their food is fantastic. It is a truly unique style of pizza that really puts other restaurants to shame.
