I had a chance to talk to the MA point person & the president of Border Cafe/Jose Tejas Inc. They explained that because the quality of food isn't as good when the food is taken out of the restaurant, Border decided to eliminate it. I can appreciate that kind of quality control & they were willing to make an exception.

Sudden change in service. I've been going to Border Cafe since 1993. Affordable & tasty food. Great chips & salsa. Tons of refills. Addicted to shrimp & crawfish quesadilla. Today when I asked for take out, the bartender said that they don't do that anymore. Even 5 star restaurants like Moo have take out! Sorry, but that is just not acceptable. If a customer has money & wants your food, take it! I have never heard any restaurant say that before.
