Excellent home cooked food. Nothing fancy, just simple and tasty. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. Fascinating old building. Be sure to try their old fashioned ice cream sodas!

Good food and very friendly service. A museum of Monmouth Illinois newspapers, photos and artifacts makes this restaurant unique.
