Walking into Mr. Submarine in Alsip instantly transported me back to simpler times with its fresh, delicious subs and unbeatable value-where else can you get a king-size sub and large fries for just ten bucks? Ed, the guy behind the counter, is a bit intimidating at first but totally cool, and his knack for handling huge orders with perfect timing and packaging made my tailgate party one for the books.

Great deli spot with a cozy atmosphere that truly captures the essence of nostalgia. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced, especially the $10 king size sub with a large fry. While the owner may seem intimidating at first, he's actually quite cool and runs a tight ship with impeccable service.
