Growing up surrounded by panaderías in Chicago, I struggled to find a bakery in the rural/suburbs that matched the delicious conchas I was used to. Luckily, I stumbled upon Pastigel, a family bakery offering fresh and tasty Mexican treats at a great value. From the Tres Leches to the Mocha, their traditional baked goods bring back the flavors of old-town Mexico. I highly recommend giving their Empanaditas, Ojarascas, and other sweet treats a try for a delightful taste of authentic Mexican bakery delights.
