My go-to Pepe's in Harwood Heights sadly closed down, so my mom and I decided to give this new spot a shot. We kicked things off with a large guacamole for starters, accompanied by two Pina Coladas - one virgin, one with a kick. I dove into the Fiesta combination plate, while my mom opted for enchiladas with Mole sauce. The food had that nostalgic '90s flavor, especially the well-seasoned guacamole and hearty beans. The only hiccup was that my Pina Colada was a bit watered down, but Mom's non-alcoholic version hit the spot. Despite a few minor issues, we'll definitely be returning for another taste of the past!
