I have spent my money at Athens for over 10 years at the various locations. The location at Glenwood had become my favorite!
NOT ANYMORE...as I eating some man that I did not recognize came to my table, interrupted my conversation with my Daughter and asked "How is Everything?" He had a certain odor to him and it was unappealing. He seemed nervous and kind of strange and it made both my Daughter and I uncomfortable. Then as I was trying to leave he rushed over to shove a menu into my hands... I didn't want to be rude so I took it although I have so many val-pak coupons that I love to use as well as a few menu's already that come with to go orders. I almost feel bad about writing this and before this time always loved to eat their with my Family. BUT.. my guess is he couldn't be just a staff there (whom always gives us great service) He must be an Owner and a new one at that! I am completely disappointed and will give more thought as to where I eat next time.
