The meal was satisfying, with perfectly cooked steaks, attentive and friendly service, and a warm atmosphere that made the evening enjoyable. Although a few minor issues arose, the staff handled them promptly and respectfully, creating a dining experience I'd be happy to revisit without hesitation.

Fantastic Food

The event was supposed to be a celebration of Mother's Day. I got my reservation from Open Table. The only thing I saw on Open Table was that the restaurant was affiliated with the other restaurants in the Rosebud family of Restaurants. Would not have gone there otherwise. In addition, no parking, valet service was not open and it was not noted anywhere, so I sat for 30 minutes waiting. Mashed potatoes and fries were excellent. Steak was adequate and overpriced for taste and presentation. For what was intended to be celebratory was instead an exercise in frustration in being in a location that was not as represented in any way, and where the food was adequate for the price and reputation that the restaurant supposedly had. Will never go back again. Chicago has many more superlative restaurants that I will be able to visit with a reputation that will meet the hype and expectations.
