The burgers and bison burger at Ryan's Pier are consistently delicious. Located near the Kankakee River, the setting adds to the overall experience. I particularly enjoyed the chili cheese hot dog with coleslaw and the attentive service provided by Ryan.

We went twice. My husband loved the burgers. I hated the seafood. The first time I had perch, catfish, & shrimp. Only the shrimp was edible, the perch & catfish were rubbery. I couldn't cut it with my fork. Second time, I had shrimp. I felt like I got the kid's version. Little shrimp, no flavor.

Great Burgers. Good Selection of beers. Specials on most nights. Service can be slow but they try hard. My biggest problem is the carpeted floor, Imagine whats in there....... yuck. Other than that, great place for a burger.
