Traveling all over Illinois and neighboring states, I can say this small-town joint serves some of the freshest, most flavorful sandwiches and burgers I've had in a long time, all made with homemade bread and fresh-cut fries. The friendly service and down-to-earth owners make every visit feel like catching up with old friends, and the variety-from garlic steak wraps to loaded nachos and tasty ice cream-keeps me coming back whenever I'm in the area.
