Growing up in Jacksonville, I always make it a point to swing by Taco Gringo for some seriously satisfying comfort food, even if the cleanliness could use a little TLC. While the staff may have their moments of goofiness, the quick service and delicious menu keep me coming back for more nachos and hot wings, despite the occasional mix-up!

After repeating my order 3 times at the drive through and waiting 20 minutes at the window I received the wrong food. The tamales are basically cornbread stuffed with catfood and a side of cold sauce. Stale chips were placed as a filler beneath fresh ones in the Mexican pie they gave me instead of what I actually ordered, plus they use oil based cheese and cream. All of the sauce tasted more like a combination of ketchup and spaghetti sauce even though I ordered medium and hot.
