Well worth the little bit of extra money you pay over the average strip mall Mexican restaurant. Simply some of the best Mexican food and by far the best guacamole north of Chicago. There are a handful of Tacos el Norte, but this one and the one in Lake Zurich are the best two. We tend to sit in the bar area, but the restaurant has more atmosphere. Service is decent considering it can be packed on weekends, and they have many great combo specials. This is our choice for Mexican food if we have the chance to go out; it's too far for us to carry out.
