The Gorditas at this place are true to their Mexican street food origins, simple and delicious. I find myself coming back whenever I have a craving for authentic Gorditas in Chicago. The tacos here are surprisingly simple yet incredibly tasty, a perfect combination that keeps me coming back for more. The beef with cheese is my personal favorite, and the authentic fruit milkshakes are the best I've ever had, made by a skilled bartender. The tortillas are pre-made and available at most Mexican grocery stores in the city, delicious and affordable. A dozen of these tortillas usually costs about 25 cents and if you're lucky, you might even get them still warm.
