During my recent visit to this lakeside bar and grill, I found it to be a popular spot in Winthrop Harbor, especially during the busy summer months. Disappointed I have to write a negative review, but was at The Tropics recently and we were charged for drinks on our bill that we didn't order. Challenged it before paying, but I was still charged for those other drinks we didn't order.
Called back and was somewhat lectured over the phone, and told I basically can't add.
Too bad, but I won't personally return. Service is marginal.
Beware and double check your bill before paying.
