I had an amazing experience at Uncle John's, where the home cooked meals were delicious and affordably priced. The service was quick, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home - it's definitely the best breakfast diner in Belvidere! The variety of dishes, from Swedish pancakes to omelettes, cater to every taste, and the extra touches like receiving more than expected make it worth every penny.

Fish fry's here have always been good until yesterday 3/4/23 5 pm. Something has changed in the menu, either the fish is different or each fillet has been cut in half, look more like fish sticks instead of fillets. Also the color was different and texture different. Portions are not what they used to be. Also a perch fillet was in the Cod plate. This is unusual for Uncle John's and hope it's not a sign of things to come like other restaurants. I will try again to see if I need to be look elsewhere.
