My husband and I always opt for local eateries over fast food chains when we travel. We recently stopped for lunch at a place that had great staff, a fresh salad bar, and clean restrooms. The food was good, but the beef on the Manhattan was more like thin lunch meat than the hearty slices in the photo. Despite some price increases with the new owner, we still enjoy dining there and look forward to our next visit!

We have eaten at the Village Garden many times. This is a great family restaurant,with a nice atmosphere,friendly staff and reasonable prices. The menu is eclectic from American,Asian,Greek,Hispanic to Italian Cuisine this restaurant has it all. you can also order Breakfast,Lunch or Dinner from open to close. I recommend the Steak and Eggs,Ocean Fried Perch dinner,The House Chicken,The House Burger, the Gyros,The BLT sandwich,the full slab baby back ribs and chicken,the Chicken Fettucine and the Chicken
parmesan dinner. They also have a lounge with alcoholic specialities from fine wines ,beer to mixed drinks. The deserts are also delicious

We are fairly new to the area, moved her in December. We have eaten there at least 5 times, took our family there when they came to visit, and we have never been disappointed, in fact my sister was saying again the other day how delicious her lasagna dinner was and how big the servings are.

The service has also been very good, like any restaurant, you aren't the only person in there to eat so before you get impatient watch the time, it really hasn't been as long as you think.

I only have one negative thing to say, wanted lemon meringue pie really bad, got a piece to take home, it had been sitting uncovered to long it was like trying to eat leather. Will tell them the next time I go there and I am sure they will make it right.

My wife and I were their yesterday, her meal was dried out(been sitting out ) my meal was overcooked and dried out, service was not so hot either. Do not belive we will be back again, anytime soon. S. Graham

I just had the most heavenly soup tonight at VG. Our Waitress, I can't remember her name, but she was so helpful and suggested the right paring for our gastronomical delights.
