During my visit to see my mother, we decided to dine at Vitale's, an unassuming local family restaurant that serves delicious, authentic Italian food with friendly service, where I thoroughly enjoyed the large, flavorful meatballs and rich spaghetti with meat sauce, and I look forward to trying more items from their extensive menu in the future.

During my visit to see my mom, we dined at Vitale's, which exudes a cozy diner charm. The spaghetti with meatballs I ordered was surprisingly delicious, and I plan to try more menu items.

If I could rate this a zero I would. The service was horrible at best. My waitress only came to my table to deliver food. I had to ask multiple times to get my drink refilled. I went to seek a manager about the poor service and when i described my problem to her, instead of taking care of the problem she told me, "then don't tip your waitress, thats how that works." I may be a college student but I have been in the food service industry for years and that was an extremely rude way to treat a customer and that she should have done something to resolve the issue. Its the only non-fast food italian place in town but the food is mediocre at best and a huge disappointment. The other "italian" places in town have much better food. Needless to say I will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone, in fact I will urge them to avoid it.
