The food here is very satisfying, but there's room for improvement. The dining area could use a makeover to bring back the cozy vibe it had in the past. Comfortable seating like booths and some soft music would really enhance the dining experience. Despite the noise from the bar, the delicious food and friendly service make it a great spot for a meal.

We had lunch after a bike ride. Food was really good and prices are decent.

It was wonderful. We had a group of 20. They made sure all the children had their food first. The homemade pork tenderloin was excellent, big and meaty, and fries were very crispy and hot. Service was excellent! We did have reservations and they accommodated us with a private area. Highly recommend!

more bad food again.... this time French fries that were rotted to black. Takes forever to get food. If you are lucky the food might be hot. Not going back

It had been a long time since I had taken my family to eat at the Underground Inn. We heard there was new ownership and lots of renovation and improvement. If anything, all they really did was add a new back room. Still the same dark and dingy bar atmosphere. The food was similar to what it was before, average at best and slightly overpriced. Unfortunately my food was cold but the plate was very hot. (this is a sure sign that the waiter let my food sit on a hot plate for twenty minutes while our other orders were being cooked.) Never once did our waitress return to do refills on drinks nor ask if we needed anything. She did come back, only to bring our bill. After talking to my neighbors, turns out they had a similar experience there. Sorry, but building a new room in back does not change bad food and bad service. If you want good food in Princeton, go to the Prime Quarter, Wise Guys, Kramers Kitchen or Roma.
