The food here is really good, especially the Friday night fish and ribeye steak sandwich, though it can be a bit pricey. The atmosphere is lively and noisy, which sometimes makes me opt for takeout, but the staff are friendly and attentive. Outdoor seating in the summer is a nice bonus, and the fries are seriously some of the best I've had-crispy on the outside and fluffy inside with just the right seasoning.

The food at this restaurant is really good, and I particularly enjoy their ribeye steak sandwich. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable despite the noisy environment.

In my lifetime, I have eaten in many many places. Billy Barooz is absolutely the best of the best. Their food portions are generous, but, not overwhelming. Their Whiskey Peppercorn sauce is fantastic and they actually have a Lobster Salad here is central Illinois that tastes like they just pulled the lobster out of the ocean, cooked it and chopped it up to serve right there at Billy's. I have been there at least a dozen times, and we have never been disappointed in the service or the food. The bonus is, you are surrounded by flat screen tv's with major sporting events on them.
If you have not ever been to Billy Barooz, GO!!!
