What can you say about a great diner with fine food and great service. A family diner run by a very kind family, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner you are treated as friends of the family. My 12 year old son just loves the poached eggs, corned beef hash (AWESOME), hash browns and the hot peppers. I just like being there for the great food and friendly conversation. Check out the Macedonian Salad for lunch or dinner it is truly very well prepared. Any Sandwich and Burger selection will fill any appetite along with the rest of the menu. If Malts and Shakes are your thing they have the very best, Boris does a fantastic job with the Corned Beef. Nada and Van serve out the staff as no other wife and son can do. I have been a loyal patron for many years at both locations in Winnetka, and to tell you the truth Do yourself a favor and enjoy a true North Shore treasure
